Palms and Boats
I have always loved sailboats. Kihei is beautiful.
This was shot in the middle of the ocean right before we jumped off the boat for some snorkeling. The water was literally this clear. I just watched the colorful fish for a bit.
Red Sand Blue Water
Red Sand Beach is beyond gorgeous. When we first climbed around the corner I could not believe the color was real.
Three Ships Sunset
Best night of the trip. It's like these sailboats were just posing for photos.
Blue Water White Sand
I have never seen water so blue or sand so white.
Niagara Falls in the Fall is a must see.
We drove up to the top of Haleakala around 3 am and waited for this. We left happy and grateful that Maui said hello
Snell Park Sunset
We are all born with dreams, yet over time we give up on them. Those who are happiest continue to make their dreams a reality. Don't let society tell you whats possible.
Antelope Canyon Details
When was the last time you were outside? When was the last time you actually looked up and appreciated the things above you?
Antelope Canyon Sunbeam
There are so many moving parts in life that seem to way me down. Views like this remind me that I am here to become a better person than I was yesterday and to help others. Everything else can be left up to God.
Every wall has grooves that are slightly different, light that is slightly different, and character that is slightly different.
Nesting in Antelope Canyon
The guides told us that the canyon is called Antelope Canyon because many years ago the antelope would walk through it.
This canyon is beautiful. To think of the decades of rain, wind, and time that has passed in order to make it, is amazing.
Four Eagles and a Laurel
This edifice is a part of the WWII monument in Washington DC. The architecture of this place is beautiful
This place is gorgeous year round. The sense of humility, happiness, and courage just floats in the air.
New York Night Lights
I saw New York for the first time this summer. It was beyond beautiful at night. This was the show we were given as we rode the ferry out of town on our last night. Gorgeous
Snell Park Sunset Moon
We each have a light all our own that will shine no matter what anyone else thinks of us. It only matters what we think of ourselves.
Kirkham Ridge Trail
Hope usually shows up after we have climbed the mountain.
This trail is amazingly beautiful. It winds through rolling mountains and golden fields with views all around.
Hope can not be taken from you, it can only be given up. Numerous impossible ideas began with just hope. Don't back down.
This was by far one of my favorite trips. It was my birthday trip involving my best friend, lots of exploring, freezing cold weather, and beautiful views. Truly no better way to celebrate in my book.
No life is painless or perfect. Every person goes through something that hurts occasionally. I believe that the hardest journeys result in the most beautiful outcomes.
Winter hikes have always been a favorite of mine. Snow silences almost everything, it's incredible how peaceful the woods become.
The light will always win against the dark times, but sometimes we give up and close our eyes instead of continuing to hope.
This river runs through the city of Boise and was my first nature scene I shot within a city. It was a lesson to myself that beautiful things can be found anywhere if you're willing to look.
Sail Your Ship
Life is not about avoiding the storms or finding the path of 100% success. It's about growing, struggling, working hard, and becoming a better version of your self. Take advantage of the calm moments in order to battle the storms.
We were the only paddleboat on the lake and they were the only sailboat. It was pretty cool to have a huge lake all to ourselves floating in silence.
If you've ever stood in a river you know the power of water. Water is perplexing because it can be calm, deadly, serene, or determined. It can take on its own personality and has always amazed me.
This little waterhole was hidden until a local told us where to find it. We hopped some logs, trudged through some underbrush, scraped some shins, scaled some dirt ravines, and enjoyed every minute of the sound of rushing water.
You can't watch sunsets like these or see natural phenomenon and not feel loved. That love is God letting you know he knows you personally and he is rooting for you.
If this were my dock you would never be able to tear me away from it. This view exemplifies Heaven for me.
My first trip to Florida was perfect. I had family by my side and colors in the sky. It'll be hard to beat.
We raced to Snell Park in hopes to see some kind of sunset and low and behold it turns out to be the most vibrant sunset I've ever seen in my life. Pretty sweet.
Many people believe they are just in this world as an unimportant bystander. I strongly disagree. I believe every single person has a talent they can share with the world to make it a better place.
Many people believe places like this do not exist simply because they haven't seen them in real life. The key to real life is that we choose to seek out these places, or seek out the impossible opportunities that our inner selves dream about. That decision to seek makes all the difference.
We almost passed right by this little spot, luckily we found it and got to explore this place that made me feel like we just stepped into a Lord of The Rings movie.
When sand is beaten and continuously compacted by water it can develop quite a mirror-like surface. Seeing the reflection of Haystack Rock was moving and humbling.
